Bridge construction
The fixed bridges are arch bridges, suspension bridges or cable-stayed bridges. The fixed bridges make up the majority of the bridges that are built, whether for pedestrian, road, highway, or rail traffic, and a great example is the Berkó Bridge.

Moveable bridges are mainly used to cross waterways or harbour entrances to guarantee the uninterrupted ship traffic. Rethebrücke in Hamburg is a good example. The moveable bridge, which received the German Steel Construction Award, is an important infrastructural junction in the Port of Hamburg. As a member of the "ARGE Rethebrücke" consortium, MCE Nyíregyháza Kft. has participated in the production and the assembly of its steel structure.

In order for a bridge to meet the requirements for low-maintenance bridge construction, especially in the developing and emerging countries, MCE has developed a new system of "modular bridges" in a multi-year process. The design is based on state-of-the-art and cost-effective combined bridge construction. The modular design allows the use of the individual components as a single-span or multi-span bridge.

Location: M8 expressway in the vicinity of Vasszentmihály
The M44 expressway is an important route in the south-eastern region of the country, the Berkó bridge provides a crossing over the River Kőrös on this road section. The 1,450-ton steel structure was manufactured and pre-assembled by MCE Nyíregyháza Kft. in 2017-2018.
BAB A30 Motorway bridges in Bad Oeynhausen
Project: The project covered the partial production and assembly of the steel structure of the bridge.

Location: Bad Oeynhausen, Germany
To facilitate the traffic in one of Europe's busiest regions. To overcome the shortages of the A30 motorway around Bad Oeynhausen, striking bridge structures were built at the eastern and western ends to cross the River Werre. Despite the different topographical terrains, both structures have a uniform design concept, so they fit harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
Adomi Bridge
Project: The project covered the production and the assembly of the steel floor structure of the bridge.

Location: Atimpoku, Ghana
The Adomi Bridge is located in the southern part of Ghana, in the town of Atimpoku, which thus connects the eastern region of Ghana with the River Volta and the region of the lake. The bridge was built between 1956 and 1957, and due to wear and tear, it has been needing renovation since the 2010s. Our parent company, MCE GmbH, won the completion of the rehabilitation of the bridge on behalf of the Ghana Highway Authority, and as a subcontractor, our Company manufactured and assembled the new components.
Rethebrücke
Project: Two-part opening road and port railway bridge; our Company manufactured and assembled the steel structure of the road bridge, including the corrosion prevention.

With a span of 104.20 meters, Rethebrücke is the largest opening bridge in Europe. With the construction of the bridge, the width of the shipping passage increased from 20 to 64 meters. The road and the port rail traffic are running on separate adjacent structures. Rethebrücke's innovative design won the 2020 German Bridge Construction Award.

An important link in the border traffic between Hungary and Austria is the M8 valley bridge near Szentgotthárd, which, as a new transit hub, enables fast and uninterrupted passenger and freight traffic between the area of Graz and Southwestern Hungary. The 1,050-ton structure was built by MCE Nyíregyháza Kft. between 2018 and 2020.
